.Over the past few years, Red Cross staff and volunteers have visited more than 12,000 homes in some of the worst cyclone affected areas. More than 1400 Red Cross staff and trained volunteers have been assisting cyclone and flood-affected people. Red Cross is working with local governments, The Department of Communities and other partner agencies to assist residents across Queensland.
